MELT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

MELT Submission Terms & Conditions:

Thank you for your interest in contributing to MELT (Mexicans Empowered Learning Thriving. Please read these terms carefully by submitting, you are entering into a legally binding agreement with MELT.

1. Submission Categories
     Contributions can be made in the following categories:

1. Artwork Submissions: Original visual art for potential use on t-shirts, merchandise, and digital content.

2. Message & Concept Contributions: Written statements, slogans, ideas, or concepts that challenge comfort, spark dialogue, and align with MELT’s mission.

3. Community Amplifiers / Connectors: Photos, videos, or social content created to amplify MELT’s message, document events, or foster conversation in alignment with the movement.
    

2. Eligibility

• Contributors must be 18 years or older.

• Contributors aged 13–17 may participate only with verifiable parental or guardian consent.
   

3. Ownership & Rights

• By submitting content, you grant MELT sole, exclusive, and irrevocable ownership of your submission.

• MELT may use, reproduce, display, distribute, modify, adapt, or sell the submission in any format, medium, or platform, including but not limited to: apparel, merchandise, digital media, websites, social media, and partner platforms.

• You forfeit all rights, including copyright, moral rights, and intellectual property rights, now and in the future.
   

4. Compensation & Royalties

• All submissions are made voluntarily.

• You will not receive any payment, royalties, or credit for the use of your submission.

• MELT is not liable for any claims regarding compensation, royalties, or future use.
   

5. Voluntary Submission & Binding Agreement

• Submission is made freely and knowingly.

• Once submitted, content cannot be revoked, rescinded, or disputed.

• Submission constitutes a binding legal contract transferring full ownership to MELT.
   

6. Technical Requirements

• Artwork: Digital, high-resolution, and scalable for apparel/merchandise printing.

• Messages/Concepts: Submitted digitally in an approved format (e.g., Word, PDF, or text file).

• Community Amplifiers / Connectors: Photos/videos must meet minimum resolution and format requirements for digital use.

• Submissions that do not meet these requirements may be dismissed.
   

7. Representations & Warranties
     By submitting, you confirm that:

• You are the original creator of the work.

• The submission does not infringe on any third-party copyright, trademark, or other rights.

• You have the full right and authority to submit the work and enter this agreement.

• You agree to indemnify MELT from any claims or damages arising from a breach of these warranties.
   

8. Acknowledgment

• By submitting, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

• Submission is voluntary and creates a binding contract with MELT.

• MELT retains 100% ownership and control indefinitely, and you have no claim or approval over current or future use of the submission.

     In short: Once submitted, MELT owns it completely. Contributors give up all rights, claims, and compensation. Submissions may be used anywhere, anytime, in any form, at MELT’s discretion.
